This project is an international collaborative project between scientists from China, Chinese Academy of Science (CAS) and from Australia, Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO).

This project is funded by the Australian Centre for Agricultural Research (ACIAR) .

In Australia, the participants are:

and
CSIRO Earth Observation Centre (EOC)
