What
is it?
CAPS is an extension of Tcl/Tk for processing AVHRR, and ATSR-2
GBT satellite data. CAPS can also display and reproject MODIS,
MISR and ASTER data.
It is used with NAP, which is another
extension that provides general array processing and HDF netCDF
and binary I/O facilities.
CSIRO is making this software available
to facilitate the development of Remote Sensing Science and the
processing of other geotemporal data.
Users are invited to contribute their own algorithms to the
developing repository of CAPS code. |
Distribution
CAPS is distributed as dynamic load libraries (.dll files) for
Windows and shared object (.so) binaries for SGI, Sun Unix platforms
and Linux. These are loaded using standard tcl/tk. Links for all
these can be found on the 'Download' page.
Source access is via a developers agreement.
Please contact us if you need such access.
