EO-1 Data Collection Events (DCEs)

Since 24 December 2000 EO-1 data was acquired until 10th May 2001 for the 2000/2001 summer (southern hemisphere) growing season. There were 17 DCEs during this period. Over the CIA there are 10 EO-1 DCEs that are less than 40% cloud cover. The bolded dates in the following table denote the 10 EO-1 images which comprise the ‘cloud free’ data, used to characterize the 2000/2001 summer (southern hemisphere) growing season.

On the 9th January 2001 EO1 was recorded for the Landsat 7 scene P093/R084 (the western scene) and was pointed towards Uardry. Consequently there is no EO1 data for the CIA for 9th January 2001.
