This is the accompanying description of the Hyperion Spectral Response data release from TRW in August 2000. The zip files are: response.zip : Plots of selected pixels data.zip : Data (in ASCII format) used in the plots. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Note to users: The dot tif files contain the gaussian fits to the raw data. The first number in the file name is one of the five spatial positions and the second number is the spectral pixel number. Because both VNIR and SWIR use 136_57.tif the VNIR is over written by the SWIR during zipping. The dat.dat files don't have this problem because the first number of the file name is the wavelength not the pixel number. The raw data in the dat.dat files contain data for more than one pixel. The dat tif files pick the pixel with the best centered response for curve fitting and plotting. Peter Jarecke --------------------------------------------------------------------------
