Location: EOC Canberra Manufacturer: HobiLabs www.hobilabs.com Hyperspectral fiber-optic field radiometer for simultaneous
measurements of radiance and irradiance from 350-850 nm with 0.4 nm resolution.
Self-contained, radiometrically calibrated instrument with programmable
controller, data logger and internal rechargeable batteries. Submersible
up to 200 meters and includes depth sensor. Accessories: two fiber-optic
cables with radiance and irradiance collectors (3 m and 30 m long), 5
m long telescopic wand for above water remote sensing reflectance measurements,
SPAR buoy for remote sensing reflectance measurements (Ed in air, Lu in
water). The instrument does not have own software. Communication with
external computer through HyperTerminal or Crosscut. Output files too
big for Excel. Special software has to be written to be able to see spectra
in real time (during remote sensing measurements) and to be able to process
the data with a spreadsheet program.
