| CSIRO researchers have access to marine and optical water quality instruments. Some systems have been designed and developed in CSIRO because of a specific need and the non-availability of commercial equipment. There are many diverse water-based research activities ranging from clear ocean waters to turbid inland lakes and rivers being conducted across many CSIRO groups. The available instruments range from single PAR readings to multispectral detectors, turbidity meters and sea surface temperature measurements. |
