MODIS (Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer) is a sensor on board both TERRA and AQUA, two NASA EOS platforms. MODIS has the distinction of having a Direct Broadcast (DB) facility, and Australian X-Band stations at Alice Springs, Hobart (TERSS) and Perth routinely acquire MODIS DB data.
An Australian MODIS Coordinating Group, Chaired by Ian Shepherd of ACRES/GA was established to address the issues that affect MODIS data and its applications. The group comprises representatives from a number of Australian institutions including Geoscience Australia (GA), the Bureau of Meteorology and CSIRO. These pages are intended as a resource for anyone interested in MODIS activities in Australia. Additions are welcome. Please contact Susan.Campbell@csiro.au |

Global
Imaging
http://www.globalimaging.com/
Global Imaging sells MODIS processing developed by NASA science teams.
The
above file includes these (and more): David has also set up an ENVI spectral
library for the average bandpasses that are in the range [350,2500]
nm, which users may find easier than those above. The bandpasses are
sampled to the range 350-2500 nm at 1 nm steps and there are Bands
1-19 and Band 26 in the file. Download the zip file:
